A simple definition for a journey that carries with it a lot of pressure, fulfillment, discomfort, and love.

As a first-time mom, I thought I had it all figured out – I took all of the classes, read all of the books, and followed all of the recommended accounts on social media. I was prepared as ever to take care of my newborn. But taking care of myself? That was a different story.

Sitting in the nursery with engorged breasts, working on that perfect latch, and doing anything I could to keep my eyes open, I realized quickly that I was not the least bit prepared. I found myself ransacking the baby aisle at the store trying to find any and all products I could to alleviate the pain and discomfort, telling myself I wasn’t going to surrender. I came home with more ice packs, creams, and heating pads than I knew what to do with, because I simply did not know what I was looking for.

I created Boob Box as a resourceful one-stop-shop for moms who are (or are soon to be) in the same boat. I'm able to offer nursing and pumping essentials, as well as education-based knowledge as a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. All of the boxes are carefully curated with products I use and love, taking the guesswork out of picking out the essentials, and the support I'm able to provide is something I wish I'd had.
